Healthy eating is important no matter what age we are but in order to maintain good health as we age the healthier we eat the better. This fact is important for a number of different reasons. As we age, many people begin to slow down their amount of activity on a daily basis. This can begin happening because of such things as age related illnesses, injuries or just general aches and pains that keep us from doing the things we used to enjoy doing.
